•• TONY BIANCO LA NYFW GIFTING SUITE
In August, Sim & Courtney headed to LA with Team Tony Bianco to roll out their second international showing space and gifting suite. Held in the lead up to New York Fashion Week, the intention of the showings was to showcase the new range exclusively to top tier talent and secure placements across the upcoming fashion month. New York Fashion Week serves as an incredibly important time for brands as influencers increased digital activity, and physical presence at shows, allows for increased brand exposure and awareness.
The New York Fashion Week showings held in LA two weeks prior to the beginning of NYFW, saw Tony Bianco’s Summer & High Summer Collections proudly on display at a boutique showroom space located in the fashion district of DTLA. The space and subsequent coverage across social media created an overwhelming influx of enquiries about a permanent LA retail space.
Over two days, the team secured private appointments with friends of the brand, including some of LA’s biggest fashion influencers and stylists as well as Aussie ex-pats who have remained loyal to their Australian roots and Tony Bianco. Key guests included: Carmella Rose, Janelle Miller, Jill Wallace, Jessi Malay, Jessica Gomes, Madison Blampied, Megan Blake Irwin, Poppy Garner, Nicole Williams, Pau Dictado, Renee Bargh, Sheryl Luke, Tere Such & Martha Such, as well as many other pulls in the days surrounding the showings from brand targets. Top tier guests who were unable to attend were sent updated styles direct from LA to ensure maximum coverage across the week, as seen in the coverage below.
The impact on social media speaks volumes to the importance of gifting suite’s and general brand activations in driving growth and engagement. In the week THA activated in L.A, the page grew close to x4 times it’s average weekly growth, making August the brands top performing month to date for 2019 based on key reporting metrics such as follower growth, impressions, reach, page engagements and brand features. This page growth was then mirrored the two weeks following – growth x3 times the average weekly growth across the first half of September – as top tier talent continued to featuring product during New York Fashion Week.
